16 Months Old!! The fun is never ending!!
We've been traveling a bit this Spring and Summer and the kids are doing really well with it all!! They've been to San Antonio to see Papa Jim and Gigi and to Reno for a visit with Grammy and Grampy Newman. They adapted faster than I had expected and did really well when left with their grandparents for a day or even overnights!!
Alison and Martin got to meet their great Aunt and Uncle on our trip to Reno. Alison gets her middle name from my Aunt Jane. They finally met! It was wonderful to spend time with Aunt Jane and Uncle Bob in Reno. We definitely don't get to see them enough!!
They also got to spend some quality time with Auntie Melissa and Uncle David and their cousins Shannon, Gabe, Aaron and Josh was even around for a little while one evening. The older kids supervised the twins and helped Alison walk a lot. They were very good together and we got some really cute pictures of all the action.
Mom and Dad (Diane and Jim) went to Tahoe for 2 nights for my birthday. We left after dinner on the 4th of July and watched fireworks on the beach with 400,000 others but it was great weather. We stayed in a little motel in South Lake Tahoe with all the modern day hippies and their dogs! Pretty funny, but I'm getting WAY too old for the M80's being shot off at 2:30 a.m.....ugh.
This is the photo montage of our trip.... it's 6:36 long.....
Martin and Alison are so fun to watch and observe. They interact well together and will play ball with us. Most of the time the ball actually comes TO us!! Alison will stand in the middle of nowhere to practice now, but no steps on her own yet. Martin is walking about 95% of the time. It's great to watch him go and the look of pride on his face.
Time is flying!!!!
